The seamless coordination of a Health Flexible Spending Arrangement (FSA) with your HRA can be an important part of a comprehensive Consumer Driven Health Care plan. By coordinating an FSA with your HRA, you provide your employees with more options as to how they manage and finance their health care.

An FSA is fully funded by the employee on a pre-tax basis, allowing your employees the opportunity to pay less out-of-pocket for medical services not covered by the HRA or the major medical plan. We also have the ability to consult with yon on how to structure the plan so that FSA dollars are used before or after the HRA funds. In either case, the coordinated FSA is a critical component to employee acceptance. It allows employees to be more aggressive with funding of their FSA, thus reducing their out-of-pocket exposure.
